Édith Bégin

Hi! My name is Édith Bégin, and I am a master's student at the Université du Québec à Montréal. I grew up in Rimouski, in the Lower St. Lawrence, and for as long as I can remember, I have been passionate about the ocean and its inhabitants. After a few detours along the way, as a hematology (blood) technologist and pathology (disease) coordinator, I came back to my first love: trying to save the planet, my way! When I had the opportunity to begin a master's degree in biological sciences, which includes forestry, ecology and climatology, I jumped at the chance.
