I'm writing a grant proposal to support some projects. I have to develop the experimental design (how we will go about answering our questions): which site we select, what measurements we will take, and, obviously, I have to consider what can be accomplished within our budget!
I also contribute to grant proposals submitted by other researchers. I participate on a particular aspect of their research project, where my expertise is pertinent. We collaborate a lot.
