Ruler, measuring tape, compass...

The tools used by forest ecology researchers are very diversified, depending on our research, but they also vary according to our temperament. In the field, I'm fairly simplistic with regard to my tools: a ruler, a measuring tape and a compass! I work simply. The advantage is, it isn't expensive!
