Glossary - Ecosystem-based management
Management approach that aims to keep healthy and resilient ecosystems by focusing on narrowing the gaps between natural landscapes and those that are managed in order to ensure the long term maintenance of multiple ecosystem functions, and, therefore, to preserve the social and economic benefits derived from those ecosystems.
