My name is Philippe Cadieux. I am a student doing a masters degree in Biology.
I specialize in forest ecology.

I study cavity nesters. The cavity nesters are animals that
depend on cavities in trees to complete their life cycle.

Cavity nesters consist of two types of animals.
The first type are the excavators. That's primarily the woodpeckers...

The pileated woodpecker, the downy woodpecker, the hairy woodpecker, the yellow-bellied sapsucker
that will dig cavities in order to complete their reproduction, to do their nesting.
