My work week

Thursday

Today I'm in southern Ontario. My colleague and I are selecting sites for a study of a destructive insect originally from Asia. It's the emerald ash borer, which has killed millions of ash trees in south-western Ontario and in neighbouring American states. The question we will try to answer is: what is the environmental impact of the death of all these ash trees?
