Cavity nesters
Home
Hi! My name is Philippe and I'm studying forest ecology. I am specializing in the study of animals that depend on tree cavities! They are called cavity nesters. I chose this field because I am fascinated by nature and the interactions that exist between the different species in our forests. Tree cavities are a good example. They are created by excavating birds, like woodpeckers, but are then used by a multitude of animals.
