GPS
My GPS is indispensable. It allows me to mark trees with nesting cavities to find them again later. Trying to find one particular tree in a forest? It's like trying to find a needle in a haystack! This summer I will cover about 450 hectares of forest, searching for nesting cavities. Let's say that without a GPS, I’d have a hard time finding my way.
